Dielectric Constant Series - Dielectric Constant Type Liquid Level Sensor

The Dielectric Constant Series Continuous Output Sensor has the unique ability to detect and accurately translate tank level output ​in a variety of liquid media with differing specific gravity and dielectric constants. This technology requires no user input, calibration or adjustment. 

Note: The sensor can be factory tuned to a particular media dielectric constant range factor if extreme accuracy is needed.

This product can sense and accurately measure true liquid level in fluids with dielectric constant differences ranging from 1.1 to 88. It also can accurately measure the same liquids that range in specific gravity from 0.50 to 2.0, all in the same device without ever having to calibrate or press any buttons. Simply install, connect your power IN and signal OUT wires for a plug and play continuous liquid level sensing instrument.

A smart liquid level sensor like this also means that it mitigates any effect of temperature and pressure change with your media type in a vessel, retaining all of its initial accuracy, making it a true long service plug and play device.

Whether it be miscible lubricants, contamination in the vessel, or just moving the device from one vessel to another, this sensor can identify most new media and compensate accurately to within 1% of original factory calibration.

It has a standard input voltage range of 10 - 45 Vdc, and
several output signal options such as 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, 1-5 Vdc, 0-10 Vdc & 2-10 Vdc.  The input/output options allow for a seamless sensor upgrade, retrofit or new installation into process control systems that utilize input/output industry standards.

​Available standard in NPT, ANSI Flange, and Sanitary Fitting mounting configurations in many sizes. Custom mounting is available, also NEMA 4 & 4x Connection Heads are available. Optional DIN 43650 plug connections for OEM applications are available on request.
